At Atlas Workplace Services, we are looking for a Maintenance Operative to join our team supporting a prestigious client site in Oxfordshire. This is a varied, hands-on position where you will play an important role in delivering high-quality facilities services and supporting the day-to-day operation of the site. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will assist with post room activities, porterage, and general maintenance tasks, as well as providing support to the hard services team, particularly fabric engineers. What you’ll be doing
- Delivering a consistently high standard of customer service
- Supporting post room operations, including handling incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Providing porterage and stores support, ensuring items are safely and efficiently moved around site
- Completing and maintaining documentation in line with site processes
- Managing reactive work requests through the CAFM system, ensuring tasks are completed in line with KPIs and SLAs
- Carrying out general maintenance activities including basic repairs, painting and decorating, and other fabric tasks
- Assisting with room setups, furniture movements, and layout changes
- Supporting site waste management processes and ensuring correct handling and disposal
- Identifying and reporting maintenance issues to the Helpdesk
- Monitoring stock levels and requesting replenishment where required
- Responding promptly to changes in site requirements or incidents
- Following all health and safety, fire, and compliance procedures
- Supporting the wider team with additional reasonable requests when needed

Minimum qualifications, certifications and training
- GCSE in English and Maths, or equivalent
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Previous experience within a similar environment delivering multi-disciplinary building services
- Experience working in a customer-facing environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A good working knowledge of modern office software
- Experience using CAFM systems on Android tablets
- Experience working in heavily controlled environments, with a strong understanding of health and safety requirements and compliance with site rules and management systems.
