From initial design through to supply, installation and commissioning, as well as ongoing monitoring, management and maintenance services, we can work with you on new build, retrofit and upgrade projects across the UK and Ireland.

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer with a minimum of two years’ post-apprenticeship experience to join our expanding team. This role suits someone who takes pride in high-quality work, understands the critical nature of life‑safety systems, and enjoys working across a variety of commercial and industrial sites throughout Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on fire alarm systems
  • Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of fire detection and alarm equipment
  • Undertake minor works, small installations, and system modifications
  • Complete accurate job sheets, reports, and compliance documentation
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant Fire Regulations and industry standards
  • Liaise professionally with clients and internal teams

Essential Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Fire Regulations and compliance requirements
  • Working knowledge of leading fire alarm panels, including: Advanced, Morley, Kentec, and other common open-protocol systems
  • FIA or equivalent industry training
  • Experience across commercial, industrial, or public-sector environments

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer post-apprenticeship
  • Experience with Gent fire alarm systems (highly advantageous)
  • Full UK driving licence
