Atlas Workplace Services is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative to join our on-site engineering team in Farnborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive engineer with strong multi-trade experience, particularly in compliance-led PPM works, to deliver high-quality maintenance services within a client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM), statutory compliance tasks, and reactive repairs across multiple disciplines.
- Complete works in line with contract SLAs and Atlas engineering standards.
- Undertake minor works and fault-finding activities efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all activities are accurately recorded via the Maximo CAFM system.
- Provide regular updates to clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication at all times.
- Support quoting of minor works, including labour and materials estimates.
- Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, schedulers, and account support teams.
- Participate in the call-out rota and respond to out-of-hours requirements when required.
About You
- Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within FM or building services.
- Strong background in PPM delivery and compliance maintenance.
- Able to work across multiple disciplines (electrical, mechanical, or general building fabric).
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
- Competent using CAFM systems and mobile devices for job management.
- Committed to delivering safe, high-quality work and exceptional service standards.
Minimum Qualifications, Certifications and Training required
- GCSE in English and Maths or Equivalent.
- Legionella (L8) trained and competent (Desirable).
- Accredited Health and Safety training.
