Responsibilities
- Provide timely, practical advice on the full range of employment‑law issues (agreements, leave, working time, expenses and terminations) to operations, sales and people‑teams across Europe.
- Draft and update contracts, separation agreements and transfer agreements; monitor legal and regulatory developments and translate them into guidance for internal teams.
- Build and lead the European employment‑law function: manage outside counsel cost‑effectively, mentor and develop legal colleagues and design training for internal stakeholders.
- Represent Atlas externally: advise clients during onboarding and ongoing support, helping them understand local requirements and manage risk.
- Work closely with the Vice President & Associate General Counsel and cross‑functional teams on strategic initiatives and help shape global compliance standards.
What we’re looking for
- At least eight years of employment‑law experience in Europe (in‑house experience at a global organisation is a strong advantage), with deep knowledge of EU employment directives and national laws.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to turn complex legal issues into clear, commercial guidance.
- Experience leading and mentoring legal professionals and collaborating across functions and regions.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast‑growing environment.
- Desire to contribute to a people‑centric culture that values inclusivity and professional growth.
