Permanent position
Onsite work: Glasgow (35-hour week)
Responsibilities
- You will implement the environmental elements for the compliance management system, including environmental policies, risk assessments, procedures and guidance notes, and will communicate these to internal and external parties.
- Responsible for implementing the operational aspects of the companies Sustainability Strategy, focussing activities on the Workplace, Marketplace and Community.
- Provide specialist advice on sustainability and environmental legislative and contractual compliance for the project.
- Manage the project's Environmental Management Plan, Emergency Response Plan, Environmental Risk Profile and Aspects and Impact register.
- Develop within the environmental management platform a project specific Environment and Sustainability Threats and Opportunities profile.
- Implementing and continuous improvement of the business compliance management system to the ISO 14001 standard for the site.
Required experience
- You need knowledge of Ecology or Environmental Advisory.
- You must be willing to travel and have a full UK driving license.
- You must have an Environmental or Ecology Qualification.
