The Manufacturing Engineering team:
My clients Manufacturing Facilities team are a small team that is focused on delivering a next generation factory today that continue to drive improvements in products and processes.
What you’ll be doing - Industrial Engineer:
- Driving the implementation and improvement of technology-based initiatives
- Researching new and emerging technologies, carrying out feasibility studies, cost analyses, and capital expenditure proposals for new equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy smart manufacturing solutions
- Driving automation and connectivity projects to improve system-to-system communication and overall business efficiency
- Monitoring and troubleshooting integrated systems
- Developing and maintaining data analytics tools
Your skills and experiences - Industrial Engineer:
- Qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or time served in a similar role (HNC/Degree)
- The ability to analyse complex problems
- Some experience in introducing new technologies / tools into a business from concept through to implementation
- Experience gained within a manufacturing environment
- Some familiarity with 2D and 3D CAD packages
