Location: Renfrewshire

My client is at the forefront of the global aerospace industry and this role lends perfectly for a machinist to have exposure to the wider business, potentially leading to further opportunities.

As a CNC Machinist you will be doing:

  • Working on a variety of machine tools, including Grinding, Milling and/or Turning.
  • Clear and demonstrated understanding of drawing interpretation, calibration, dimensional and visual inspection.
  • Working on 3-axis & 5-axis control systems.

Experience and skillset - CNC Machinist:

  • MUST HAVE completed an advanced modern engineering apprenticeship and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in 3 & 5-axis machines, grinding, turning, milling.
  • Able to work at 3-shift pattern.
