My client is looking for a talented Naval Architect to join their expert team based at Portsmouth Naval Base. Performing structural analysis using ANSYS Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools and theoretical methods Conducting ship stability assessments with Paramarine software Supporting inclining experiments on naval vessels and conducting post-analysis evaluations Designing ship modifications and capability upgrades Carrying out drydock technical assessments and contributing to ship maintenance planning Involvement across the full ship lifecycle-from concept design to in-service support for naval platforms Degree-qualified (MEng) in Naval Architecture, Marine Technology, or Ship Science (essential) Familiarity with Paramarine or similar naval architecture software (desirable) Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD or Inventor (desirable) you\’ll be actively involved with real-world naval platforms, including hands-on work with Royal Navy ships.
