Electromechanical Field Service Engineer (Digital Cinema) – £33-35k starting salary, based in the Guildford area to cover South East region with travel into central London when required.
Required:
- Electrical/electronic engineering/practical experience, including the ability to read circuit diagrams and an understanding of 3-phase electrics.
- Mechanical engineering/practical experience.
- Good IT knowledge and skills, PC and software literate.
- Knowledge of network fault finding and corrective measures.
- Physically fit, some lifting of equipment and parts will be required as well as stairs to negotiate. Some working at heights and working from a scaffold tower may be required.
Desired:
- Previous engineering or technical support experience in digital cinema or theatre management systems would be beneficial but not mandatory.
- Knowledge and experience of Sony cinema equipment would be ideal, any knowledge of Barco, NEC and/or Christie would also be beneficial, although training will be required for the right candidate.
My client is an EU wide Field Service provider looking for a Electromechanical Field Service Engineer to join a forward-looking team involved in challenging, customer focused projects across a range of sectors, with the opportunity to work alongside some of the leading brands in their field. You will be servicing, repairing and installing digital cinema equipment, with the potential of additionally working on Robotics equipment and other disciplines as and when required and trained.
