Location: Portsmouth - Hybrid

Salary: £41,500 + overtime

Are you looking to get into design and further your career? My client provides through life electrical engineering support to all marine platforms and will offer you the opportunity to be a part of, and help shape the future support of world class vessels within the Defence Industry.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Producing Integration Design Solutions
  • Production of Ship Feasibility studies
  • Undertake Ship Surveys
  • Maintaining Ship Databases for Electrical Power Distribution
  • Support Ship-build electrical design

Your skills and experiences:

  • Knowledge of Electrical Systems theory
  • Interpret and apply Electrical Design Standards
  • Working knowledge of Electrical Installation Practices and Electrical Distribution Systems
  • ONC/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Some familiarity of AUTOCAD & FORAN toolsets
