My client is at the forefront of the global aerospace industry and this role lends perfectly for a machinist to have exposure to the wider business, potentially leading to further opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Multi-skilled engineer with the ability to use a range of machine tools
  • Critically inspect your own work visually and dimensionally on components
  • Maintain excellent quality standards
  • Assess whether the quality of components produced within the facility meets the required standards

Experience and skillset – CNC Machinist

  • MUST HAVE completed an advanced modern engineering apprenticeship and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in 3- and 5-axis machines, turning and milling
  • Clear and demonstrated understanding of drawing interpretation, calibration, dimensional and visual inspection
