Vehicle Mechanic Location: Newcastle – Full time, 37 hours per week Salary: £32,760 + overtime As a Vehicle Mechanic, you\’ll be part of a skilled and dedicated team responsible for maintaining and repairing military vehicles and electrical equipment. Your work will directly support the UK\’s defence capability-making this a career with real purpose and impact What you\’ll be doing – Vehicle Mechanic Servicing, repairing, and overhauling military vehicles and electrical systems Diagnosing, inspecting, and assessing vehicles and associated equipment Creating job cards and requesting materials using ERP (SAP) systems Completing documentation and test certificates to current standards Ensuring correct use of stores and returning unused or faulty items Your skills and experiences – Vehicle Mechanic NVQ Level 3 in Service and Repair Preferred: Ex-REME Class 1 Vehicle Mechanic with current competencies (not essential) All successful Vehicle Mechanics will be contacted within 2 days of application
