What you'll be doing:
- Apply technical knowledge in the Digital and Electronic domain for complex designs
- Lead and mentor the Digital Engineering team
- Subject matter expert in Electronic Engineering discipline
- Coordinate estimates to support bidding activities and cost to complete estimates
- Work across each stage of the engineering lifecycle
Your skills and experiences:
- Understanding of the digital techniques design process including requirements generation, design and implementation
- Knowledge of complex digital PCB design
- Knowledge of digital devices in particular FPGAs or VHDL
- Ability to communicate with specialists within digital, analogue, RF and electrical domains
- Experience in the whole design process from requirements to design assurance and sign off
- Team leadership, people development, mentoring / coaching
