The Coiled Tubing Engineer is the client focal point for the preparation and execution of CT and pumping services. The role will be responsible for managing client expectations, preparing technical designs of services for the work scope required by the client, supporting the Coiled Tubing department with technical support during preplanning, job execution, and post-job analysis. The engineer will also track and report revenue generated from operations and coordinate with the accounting department for invoicing.

Responsibilities:

  • Share knowledge across the department by submitting best practices and lessons learned.
  • Conduct meetings to ensure all personnel are aligned with current and planned work scopes.
  • Promptly escalate issues that can impact service delivery, follow up on field failures, and share learnings across the team.
  • Ensure invoices align with contracts/quotes, prevent revenue leakage, and support timely cash collection in collaboration with the finance department.
  • Fully understand and capitalize on assigned contracts/quotes with support from CT Business Development.
  • Support the Finance Controller in driving time-efficient invoicing to minimize revenue impact.
  • Support sales and commercial requirements for the Coiled Tubing business as needed.

Job requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: Minimum 5 years of technical experience. Minimum 5 years of operational experience. Excellent technical background in Coiled Tubing equipment. Strong personnel management skills with experience in building onshore/offshore teams.

Personal skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong teamwork skills. Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines. Good at building relationships, influencing others, and managing conflicts. Strong understanding of safety regulations and industry standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
