The Role
We are seeking a motivated and organised Storesperson to join the Materials & Logistics team. This is a hands-on role supporting the efficient receipt, storage, control and issue of materials, ensuring production and customer delivery requirements are met.
Working closely with a range of internal teams, you will help maintain accurate inventory records, support stock management activities and contribute to the smooth flow of materials throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and book in incoming materials and goods.
- Accurately pick, pack and issue materials to support production requirements.
- Maintain stock accuracy through regular stock checks and inventory control activities.
- Ensure materials are stored safely and in designated locations.
- Support inventory investigations and help resolve stock discrepancies.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance stores performance and efficiency.
- Work closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality and Logistics teams.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety and compliance at all times.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or logistics environment is desirable but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced operational environment.
- Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of products, processes and systems.
- Ability to work independently once trained and manage workload effectively.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with inventory management, ERP or warehouse management systems would be beneficial.
- Forklift truck licence advantageous but not essential.
