We are currently supporting a major offshore wind development and are looking for an experienced Senior SCADA Engineer Representative to join the commissioning team. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you will lead and coordinate SCADA commissioning activities across both offshore and onshore environments, playing a key role in the energisation and handover of substation control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate SCADA commissioning activities across multiple interfaces
- Supervise contractors and ensure commissioning is delivered safely and to quality standards
- Drive on-site progress, manage risks, and resolve execution challenges
- Oversee testing activities (FAT, SAT, SIT) and ensure proper documentation
- Provide structured reporting and manage deviations and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with HSE, QA/QC, and grid requirements
Requirements:
- Strong experience in SCADA commissioning within energy or large infrastructure projects
- Experience with Substation Control Systems (Hitachi MicroSCADA preferred)
- Good understanding of grid compliance and commissioning processes
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, site-based environment
- Previous offshore experience and valid GWO certification (mandatory)
