Lead the growth of offshore wind in Northern Europe! We’re looking for an experienced Sales Director to drive WTG sales, build strategic partnerships, and lead a high-performing team across the UK and Northern European markets. If you’re passionate about offshore wind and have a track record in complex contract negotiations, this is your chance to shape the future of renewable energy.
Location: UK (flexible within region – UK, Ireland, Nordics)
Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership – Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to establish and expand market leadership in offshore wind projects.
- Team Building & Leadership – Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and results.
- Customer & Stakeholder Engagement – Cultivate executive-level relationships with developers, utilities, EPCs, and regulators.
- Bid & Contract Management – Oversee tendering processes, proposals, and critical contract negotiations (including PSA, TSA, EWA), ensuring commercial and strategic alignment.
- Financial Accountability – Manage sales budgets, pipeline forecasts, and pricing strategies to optimize profitability.
- Market Intelligence & Risk Management – Continuously analyze market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Representation – Act as the face of the company in industry forums, conferences, and client meetings.
- Minimum 10 years’ senior sales or business development leadership in renewable energy, offshore wind, or large-scale infrastructure.
- Proven track record of securing complex, high-value contracts in international markets.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing sales teams across multiple geographies.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
