We’re supporting a growing renewable energy developer in the UK looking to hire a Grid Manager or Senior Grid Manager to support an expanding project portfolio. This is a key hire, working closely with senior leadership in a lean, high-impact team. The role is focused on owning grid connections across multiple projects, from application through to energisation.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage grid connection applications, offers, and agreements end to end
- Interface directly with DNOs, NESO, and other stakeholders
- Drive projects through the connections process from early stage through delivery
- Coordinate with internal development, engineering, and delivery teams
What they’re looking for:
- Experience in grid connections within renewables, utilities, or ICP/IDNO environments
- Hands-on involvement in applications, offers, and stakeholder management
- Understanding of UK grid processes (DNO/NESO, connections reform, etc.)
Location: UK-based, with regular presence in Central Scotland (3 days per week)
