We are supporting a leading international renewable energy OEM expanding its onshore wind activities across Europe. They are now looking to hire a Senior Business Development Manager to lead commercial activities across the UK, Ireland and Nordic markets.

The Role

This is a key commercial position focused on building pipeline, developing strategic partnerships, and supporting market entry across multiple European regions. You will work closely with internal technical and leadership teams to position solutions and secure new opportunities within the onshore wind sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business development activities across the UK, Ireland and Nordics
  • Identify and originate new opportunities within onshore wind projects
  • Build and maintain relationships with developers, utilities, and key stakeholders
  • Support commercial strategy and market entry initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and delivery teams during early-stage project development
  • Track market trends, pipeline activity, and competitor positioning

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development or commercial roles within onshore wind
  • Strong network across UK renewable energy developers and stakeholders
  • Experience working for an OEM, developer, or EPC
  • Good understanding of project development lifecycle and route-to-market
  • Exposure to BESS or hybrid projects is a strong advantage
  • Comfortable working across multiple European markets

Location

UK-based (flexible), with travel across the UK and Europe as required.
