This role will support and facilitate the delivery of early career development programs, including apprenticeships, internships, and graduate schemes.

This role involves designing training programs that comply with Ofsted and Df E regulations, coordinating with educational institutions, and deputizing for the Skills and Education Manager as the second nominee for Ofsted.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in an engineering training environment covering skills development.
  • Minimum Level 4 qualification in engineering, learning and development, or an equivalent field.
  • Strong knowledge of apprenticeship training delivery, Apprenticeship Standard structures, End Point Assessment, and government-funded training.
  • Experience with Ofsted inspections.
  • Ability to provide advice on talent training, upskilling, and Safeguarding/Prevent policies.
  • Key soft skills: curiosity, willingness to learn, strong organizational abilities, and problem-solving skills.
  • A full driving license and the ability to work flexible hours/locations as required.
