Atlas NextWave is an internationally active staffing company with a strong footprint in renewables. The global finance team (>40 FTE) supports business performance, strengthens decision-making, and further professionalises finance and accounting processes across the organisation.

As a Team Manager, you will lead the finance function for the Division Energy Transition Europe (~3 FTE), acting as the financial sparring partner for the Director Energy Transition Europe and a member of the division's management team. You will report to the Director Divisional Control and maintain close contact with other financial leaders.

Your role will involve supporting business partners with key financials and KPIs while leading and improving processes such as budgeting, rolling forecasting, and business reviews. You will focus on delivering actionable insights to guide strategic decision-making and coach and develop members of your team and the broader finance community.

A typical week may include:

  • Partnering with the Director Energy Transition Europe and regional management teams to review business performance, discuss risks and opportunities, and challenge decisions with data-driven insights.
  • Leading a team of FP&A professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and support in their professional development.
  • Analysing financial and operational KPIs, identifying trends, and translating findings into actionable recommendations for the business.
  • Coordinating the budgeting, forecasting, and monthly business review cycles, ensuring high-quality financial reporting and planning.
  • Working closely with local finance teams across Europe to improve reporting quality, strengthen controls, and drive standardisation of processes.
  • Supporting strategic initiatives through business cases, scenario analyses, and profitability assessments.
  • Collaborating with commercial, operational, and finance stakeholders on growth opportunities, investments, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Driving continuous improvements in finance systems, reporting capabilities, and data analytics to support better decision-making.

Job requirements

  • 5 - 10 years experience in Business control, Accounting or corporate finance.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into business insights.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels.
  • Data-savvy, with experience in BI solutions, reporting tools, and financial systems.
  • Ability to operate in a multicultural environment.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting and financial reporting.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent education/experience.
