Atlas NextWave is supporting a leading global marine construction and EPCI provider in the appointment of a Senior Subsea Pipeline Engineer to strengthen their Front End & Design Engineering capability. Our client delivers complex subsea projects in some of the world’s most challenging offshore environments and is investing significantly in early-phase engineering excellence as their portfolio of FEED, pre‑execution and EPCI projects continues to expand. This is a key technical role offering genuine influence across concept development, detailed design and project execution.
As Senior Subsea Pipeline Engineer, you will play a central role in delivering high‑quality subsea pipeline design solutions across Front End studies and major EPCI projects. You will act as a technical authority within multidisciplinary teams, interfacing closely with clients, fabrication partners and third‑party design houses. This role suits an experienced engineer who enjoys both deep technical ownership and collaborative project environments.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver detailed design and analysis for:
- Subsea rigid pipelines and spools
- Tie‑ins and associated subsea systems
- Flexible pipe and riser systems
- Rigid spool design and tie‑in analysis
- Flexible pipe in‑place design
- On‑bottom stability and free‑span assessments
- Riser dynamic analysis
- Degree qualified (BEng / MEng / MSc) in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline
- Proven experience in a Senior or Lead Subsea Pipeline Engineering role
- Strong background in offshore subsea pipeline design within FEED and/or EPCI project environments
- Confident managing interfaces, priorities and technical risk
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across disciplines and cultures
- Work on technically challenging and high‑profile subsea projects
