Based in Westhill, Aberdeen, this role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in shaping business development strategy and delivering sustainable commercial success.
The Opportunity
As Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for driving growth through the identification, development, and conversion of new business opportunities, whilst maximising value from existing client relationships.
Working closely with senior leadership and operational stakeholders, you will lead the full business development lifecycle, from market engagement and opportunity qualification through to tender submission and contract award.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts across target markets and client organisations.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through market intelligence and strategic engagement.
- Manage and maintain CRM systems, ensuring accurate pipeline management and reporting.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to develop and execute growth strategies.
- Lead the preparation of high-quality, client-focused tender submissions and proposals.
- Coordinate and manage tender activities across multiple stakeholders.
- Work closely with commercial and finance teams to develop robust commercial solutions.

- Support successful contract mobilisation activities alongside operational teams.
