Based in York, North Yorkshire, Atlas Innovation Labs is an early-stage company backed by strong technical and operational expertise and is actively onboarding its first customers. The team is focused on delivering practical, intuitive software that is neither generic nor unnecessarily complex or costly. Having completed product development and validation work, we are now entering our commercial growth phase and are seeking a motivated sales professional to help us secure our first customers and build the foundations of a scalable sales function. The Opportunity
We are looking for a commercially-minded, self-motivated individual who enjoys creating opportunities, building relationships, and contributing to company growth. This role is initially commission-based and ideally suited to someone who is excited by the potential upside and influence that comes with joining a startup at the ground floor. You will be responsible for:
- Identifying and engaging prospective customers
- Generating and qualifying new business opportunities
- Conducting outreach through phone, email and LinkedIn
- Booking and supporting product demonstrations
- Building and managing a sales pipeline
- Providing market feedback to the founding team
- Helping develop and refine our sales processes and messaging
Compensation
Initial Phase
- Commission-only structure (20% upon customer payment)
- Uncapped earning potential

Planned Transition to Permanent Employment
This position is intended to evolve into a full-time salaried role as the business reaches agreed growth milestones. Our expectation is that this transition will occur following:
- Achievement of £15,000 Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), and/or Seed Investment secured (expected within Q4 2026)
- Completion of our planned seed investment round, anticipated within the next 6 months.

About You
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in SaaS, field service management, or related technology solutions.
- Strong skills in outbound prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline management, and closing new business.
- Ability to run consultative sales processes, including discovery, needs analysis, solution framing, and negotiation.
- Comfortable delivering engaging product demos (in person and online) to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and relationship-building skills with customers at multiple organizational levels.
- High level of ownership and self-direction, with a track record of working in early-stage or fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and basic sales reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking practices.
- Interest in field service operations, compliance-heavy industries, and AI-driven software products.
- Ability to work on-site in Leeds and travel to customer locations or events when required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
