Job Description

As a GWO Rigger you are responsible for various rigging tasks offshore. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of GWO standards and a commitment to safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively contribute to the safety regime on the vessel;
  • Carry out other related tasks when required by management;
  • Correct use of equipment expressly designed for moving and lifting objects;
  • Rigger must work together as a cohesive team and there must be an environment on trust among other riggers because of the potentially dangerous nature of rigging.

Who Is Trustworthy

  • A good team player;
  • Able to read and interpret in English;
  • Able to read, interpret and follow work instructions.

Qualifications

  • Banksman Nogepa;
  • Rigging Full GWO (First Aid, Working at Height, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness and Sea Survival).
