The Opportunity: As Lead Employment Counsel, Europe, you will be the senior employment law authority for the region, responsible for guiding Atlas through complex and evolving employment frameworks while enabling scalable, compliant growth. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Legal & Compliance, Operations, Sales, and People & Culture, and will regularly advise on sensitive, high-impact employment matters affecting both Atlas's internal operations and its clients. This role offers real ownership, visibility, and influence — ideal for an experienced employment lawyer who enjoys combining legal depth with leadership and commercial judgment.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the regional lead for European employment law, advising across the full employee lifecycle including hiring, working time, leave and accommodations, restructurings, transfers of employment, and terminations.
  • Own and continuously evolve Atlas's European employment law framework, ensuring it supports a multi-country EOR operating model while managing legal and regulatory risk.
  • Draft, review, and maintain employment agreements.
