You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the look and feel of our hotels across your region.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Carry out planned painting and decorating work across multiple hotels — including bedrooms, corridors, public areas, back‑of‑house spaces, and exteriors.
  • Prepare surfaces, complete repairs, and apply finishes to a high standard across different materials such as plasterboard, timber, and metal.
  • Plan and prioritise work with the Regional Property Manager to minimise disruption to hotel operations.
  • Make confident on‑site decisions and resolve minor issues independently.
  • Keep your workspace safe, tidy, and well‑organised.
  • Ensure rooms and areas are returned to service quickly and to a high standard.
  • Build strong working relationships with hotel teams and plan work collaboratively.
  • Share knowledge and best practices within the wider Property & Maintenance network.
  • Follow all health, safety, and fire life safety procedures.
  • Take responsibility for your ongoing learning and development to grow within Atlas Hotels.

We think you'll thrive if you have

  • Proven experience in painting and decorating, ideally in a customer‑facing or commercial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of wall repairs, surface prep, and finishing across various materials.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating (or equivalent).
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
  • Self‑motivated, organised, and able to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
  • Flexibility to prioritise tasks and work away from home when needed.
  • Experience working in a hotel or multi‑site environment.
  • Exposure to broader property and maintenance operations in a corporate setting.
