Employment Details
- Zero‑hour contract – flexible shifts as required.
- Must be willing to work on David Lloyd Leisure sites.
- Right to work in the UK (evidence must be presented at interview).
- Basic spoken English is required for safety and customer communication.
Qualifications and Requirements
- An attitude to thrive and cleaning experience (full training available for suitable candidates).
- Ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role on site.
- Good social skills to fit in with the David Lloyd Leisure community and enhance the customer experience.
- Local to the area is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Dedicate your time onsite to go the extra mile and work seamlessly with David Lloyd Leisure managers.
- Complete induction and training within the first week of work.
- Deliver the cleaning specification using the provided equipment.
- Maintain a high standard of customer care across all shift hours.
- Clean gym areas including changing rooms, toilets, showers, stairs, landings, corridors, receptions, furniture and fittings.
- Handle site‑based equipment and cleaning materials (training included).
- Replenish consumables such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper and bin liners.
- Empty litter bins into appropriate waste and recycling containers.
- Ensure cleaning is completed to the highest standards at all times.
- Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
- Work within a supportive team that goes the extra mile.
