Atlas is looking for a Cleaner to maintain David Lloyd Leisure facilities. The role involves cleaning gym areas, restrooms, changing rooms, and common areas while ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the cleaning specification and use equipment as trained.
- Provide high standard customer care during different shift hours.
- Clean gym areas, changing rooms, toilets, showers, stairs, landings, corridors, reception, furniture and fittings.
- Handle site‑based equipment and cleaning materials, following training.
- Replenish consumables such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper and bin liners.
- Empty litter bins into appropriate waste & recycling containers.
- Ensure cleaning is completed to the highest standards at all times.
- Maintain Health and Safety standards and be prepared with required knowledge.
- Work within a team that goes the extra mile.
Qualifications
- Basic level of spoken English.
- Good social skills to fit in with the David Lloyd Leisure Community.
- Ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role on site.
- Local to the area (preferred).
- Positive and friendly attitude; excited to make a difference.
- Understanding of hygiene and safety in busy environments (preferred but can train).
