Your role as a Shipping & Export Administrator - Temporary is to ensure the continuity and compliance to Edwards Shipping and Export. You will complete the day-to-day tasks required to enable shipping of all systems, upgrades, and spares, and provide a central point of coordination for the factory for calibration and shortages. You will report to the Logistics Specialist.
You will:
- Ensure the department ships all systems, upgrades, and spares on a daily basis.
- Liaise with shippers daily to ensure they have availability to meet our shipping requirements.
- Support with coordinating the calibration process.
- Continuously assess processes to ensure we are performing in the most efficient way in collaboration with other departments.
- In collaboration with dispatch, keep track of systems in offsite storage so customers can be notified of what products are waiting.
- Flag any cost issues at shipping and chase resolution.
- Complete any other reasonable requests from the line manager.
To succeed, you will need to be Aviation secure, so will need to provide 5 years of references, have administration experience, MS package skills, and both verbal and written communication skills.
