JOB SUMMARY: Industrial Controls Engineer with a product-specific focus for on-time delivery of new embedded products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Participate actively in regular scrum meetings to support Agile methodologies.
- Develop sustainable features and products to meet the roadmap commitments.
- Contribute code (for products and scripting) into DVCS repositories.
- Understand and apply regional and customer standards/specifications.
- Support root-cause analysis and reproduce reported issues for efficient resolution.
- Maintain updated documentation for department inputs, project artifacts, and engineering processes.
- Support the development of internal and external resources following best engineering practices.
- Implement Henrob standard products to meet stakeholder needs, interfacing with various groups to gather requirements.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
- Proficiency in OOP design and scripting (C#, C++, Python, ST).
- Ability to contribute to a global engineering community; familiarity with other languages is a plus.
- Team-oriented, problem solver with a focus on reducing waste.
- Willingness to travel locally and globally as needed.
- Knowledge of hardware components in industrial control systems and IEC schematics.
- Ability to anticipate system behavior in various scenarios.
- Strong IT, self-management, and organizational skills.
EDUCATION OR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field, or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
