Senior Product Compliance Engineer – Vacuum Technique

Global Engineering Quality operates within a decentralized structure, driving the quality, safety, and sustainability of Vacuum Technique’s products, processes, and customer support.

The Senior Product Compliance Engineer provides expert guidance on global, complex product legislation for vacuum pumps and associated equipment. They monitor regulatory developments, interpret evolving standards to ensure clarity, and enhance awareness and competence in product and materials legislation across central technology teams and product companies.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Define and implement global compliance strategies for Vacuum Technique products
  2. Monitor and interpret evolving standards and legislation to ensure product compliance
  3. Train engineering teams across product companies on compliance requirements
  4. Support new product compliance processes and provide essential training
  5. Manage and audit Technical Construction Files
  6. Develop a materials standards database to support compliance efforts
  7. Oversee multiple projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
  8. Ensure health and safety standards are met across all compliance activities

To Succeed, You\’ll Need:

  1. Engineering or Science degree
  2. Ten years\’ engineering experience, ideally with Vacuum products in development or support roles
  3. Experience with product legislation safety reviews, product safety testing, and external directives/regulations
  4. Working knowledge of International and European product safety standards
  5. Fluency in English; Czech or Chinese would be useful
  6. Ability to oversee and supervise staff, ensuring time, cost, and quality standards are met
  7. Confident grasp of engineering matters, demonstrated through speed, accuracy, and quality of work
  8. Commitment to quality and safety in the organization, products, and applications
