Your role is to join a global leader in innovation, sustainability, and customer-driven technology. We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our market-leading team, specialising in Compressed Air & Vacuum solutions. As part of our field sales team, you’ll play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, expanding our presence across the North West, and promoting our industry-leading portfolio of high-performance equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing customer relationships across the North West, supporting the Sales Manager and wider team in achieving growth targets.
- Preparing detailed proposals and pricing strategies to win new business and support existing clients.
- Leading product demonstrations, attending exhibitions, and supporting negotiations to successfully close deals.
- Conducting on-site surveys and offering technical advice to prospective and current customers.
- Championing excellent after-sales support, ensuring a high standard of customer care at every stage.
- Managing and motivating a network of distributors within your territory.
- Providing accurate and timely reporting on sales activity, pipeline, performance analysis, and market trends, including visit reports, lost order insights, and budget tracking.
To succeed, you will need:
- Proven sales experience, ideally in capital equipment or technical products.
- Knowledge of the compressed air industry is a plus, but not a must.
- A technical qualification or background is beneficial, but again, not essential.
- A full UK driving licence – this is a field-based role with regular travel across your territory.
- Strong IT skills and a willingness to get comfortable with new systems and CRM tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – the ability to build trusted relationships with both clients and colleagues.
- Great organisation and time management, with a proactive approach to planning your day and meeting targets.
