Your role as a Technical Support Engineer involves delivering high-quality technical support across the UK. You will work closely with both internal teams and external customers, helping to solve problems, improve products, and ensure a seamless experience.
Responsibilities:
- Providing technical support to customers and internal teams across the UK
- Responding to technical queries and troubleshooting issues
- Supporting remote commissioning and updates of Optimizer projects
- Assisting with spare parts enquiries and delivering related training
- Monitoring technical support systems, calls, and databases
- Reviewing and analysing warranty claims and enquiries
- Investigating product issues and identifying solutions
- Working closely with product teams to share feedback and drive improvements
- Delivering product training to internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting field engineers through training planning and coordination
- Contributing to continuous improvement and ad-hoc projects
Skills and Experience:
- Experience within a mechanical and/or electrical engineering environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Confidence using computer systems and managing administrative tasks
- A proactive and self-motivated approach
- Willingness to travel across the UK (and occasionally overseas)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
