Field Service Engineer – Atlas Copco

We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team at Atlas Copco, where every day brings something new. In this role, you’ll install, maintain, and repair compressed air and industrial gas systems at customer sites, ensuring world-class service and operational excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Representing Atlas Copco on-site with professionalism and a customer-first approach
- Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting air compressors, dryers, gas generators, and related equipment
- Diagnosing technical faults and delivering expert repairs with safety and efficiency
- Using digital tools to log service activity, maintain up-to-date records, and report on performance
- Participating in our on-call schedule and supporting urgent service needs when required
- Attending live training and regular team sessions to keep your knowledge and skills sharp
- Acting as a brand ambassador and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement or added value
- Contributing to a culture of collaboration, safety, and innovation across the wider service team
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in an industrial, mechanical, electrical, or field-based engineering role
- A mechanical or electrical qualification (or equivalent hands-on experience, we value both)
- Confidence using basic IT systems and the ability to learn new digital tools
- A full UK driving licence (with no more than 3 points)
- Someone who is adaptable, proactive, safety-conscious, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- A good communicator who enjoys building customer relationships and solving real-world challenges
