We are looking for a Digital Content Specialist to join Edwards Vacuum in this exciting new position within the Semiconductor divisions of Edwards Vacuum (part of the Atlas Copco Group). The Semiconductors, Semiconductor Service and Semiconductor Chamber Solutions divisions sit within the Vacuum Technique Business Area of Atlas Copco. We are investing in new facilities, systems, and technology as well as in our structure, capabilities and people.

Reporting into the Head of Digital Communications for the Edwards Semiconductor divisions, this is a Global role based in our Burgess Hill, UK office, with periodical trips to the office or elsewhere, as needed, working in the divisional teams with strong liaison across all Vacuum Technique Business area divisions, including customer centres and product companies. The role involves managing and supporting primarily Edwards social media accounts and websites to achieve best in class social media and web presence, and other Communications channels. The exact number of programs under the purview of this role will depend on scale and complexity, and relative prioritization of impact over the 3 - 5 year horizon.

Your day-to-day:

  • Create digital campaigns based on existing content, including applications, solutions, processes and/or persona based campaigns.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects by creating social media and/or web content, based on inputs and guidance from Marketing Communications partners.
  • Collaborate with the Web team to optimise website content and ensure email marketing content remains current and aligned with division priorities.
  • Drive application-based website optimisation, including the creation of new content where gaps or opportunities are identified.

Your skills and experience:

  • Degree level qualification in Marketing and/or Communications and/or Digital and/or similar with a preferred minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Web, Social Media and Digital Communications campaigns and content creation in a B2B environment.
  • High level of written and spoken English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Proficient skills in MS PowerPoint & other office tools; knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager web publishing tool, WordPress skills and/or knowledge in other content managing solutions for building and editing websites would be a plus, as would knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and photo and video editing tools.
  • Creative approach able to bring innovative and appropriate communication tactics: help to generate ideas to achieve our Objectives and Goals, and to fulfil our strategy points.
  • A flexible approach, able to cope with a constantly changing environment and priorities, work under pressure and handle variable workloads.
  • Be resourceful and able to take the initiative to resolve issues and share that initiative with others, show a concern for order by being personally well organised, including looking for ways of improving processes, while being self-motivated with the ability to generally work unsupervised and use personal initiative in progressing own work.
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our GTC site in Burgess Hill, UK.
