Your role as a Sales Manager – PTS is to maximise the Sales and Profitability of the Atlas Copco Power Technique Service business through effective Key Accounts management, end users and channel partners. This position focuses on understanding client needs, promoting sustainable solutions, and ensuring the successful delivery of parts and services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts in the UK & Ireland market.
- Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, issues, and escalations.
- Understand customer needs and promote Power and Flow aftermarket parts and service solutions.
- Develop parts and service business for our Pumps, Generators and Energy storage systems.
- Create a road map to grow on Service ladder by promoting preventative parts business, service contracts, Refurb and used equipment.
- Drive Refurb and Reman program for pumps and generators.
- Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and pricing structures with key accounts.
- Ensure adherence to contractual agreements and terms.
- Work closely with internal teams, including sales, technical support, and logistics, to meet customer requirements.
- Provide feedback to internal teams based on customer interactions.
- Address and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and issues promptly.
- Provide market insights to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions.
Qualifications:
- A confident person with a technical understanding who is prepared to travel and conduct face to face meetings with both new and existing accounts and prospects.
- Relevant industry experience and good business acumen.
- Proven track record in sales, with the ability to meet or exceed targets.
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Ability to analyse market trends and customer data to inform sales strategies.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Goal‑focused mindset, focusing on achieving targets and maintaining effectiveness.
- Good level of PC knowledge including Microsoft 365 applications.
- Enthusiastic and passionate, able to work systematically whilst focusing on delivering quality and results.
