Your role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our market-leading team specialising in Onsite Gas Generation Solutions. As part of our field sales team, you’ll play an important role in developing customer relationships, growing our presence across Northern England and Scotland, and promoting our industry-leading portfolio of sustainable gas generation equipment.
What you’ll be doing
- Building and managing customer relationships across Northern England and Scotland, supporting the National Sales Manager and wider team in achieving growth targets.
- Preparing proposals and pricing solutions to secure new business and support existing customers.
- Conducting on-site surveys and providing technical guidance to both prospective and current customers.
- Delivering an excellent customer experience through high-quality after-sales support.
- Supporting market awareness and demand generation activities to position Atlas Copco as a trusted industry leader.
- Providing accurate reporting on sales activity, pipeline management, market trends, forecasts and customer visits.
To succeed, you will need
- Sales experience, ideally within capital equipment, engineering or technical products.
- Knowledge of the compressed air industry (beneficial, but not essential).
- A technical qualification or background (helpful, but not required).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence using IT systems and CRM tools, or a willingness to learn.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with a proactive approach to your work.
- Curiosity, attention to detail and the confidence to ask questions and challenge where appropriate.
- A full UK driving licence, as this is a field-based role involving travel across your territory.
