Your role as a Senior Finance Analyst is to partner with the Manufacturing and Engineering functions, providing insight, financial analysis, and strategic support to drive operational performance across the Product Company. You will report to the PC Controller.
You will:
- Serve as a trusted finance partner to Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations Managers.
- Provide deep insights into operational performance including cost drivers, material usage, labour efficiency, waste, and overheads.
- Support preparation of monthly manufacturing P&L reporting, specifically detailed variance analysis (labour, overheads, material variances, yield, scrap).
- Provide adhoc analytical support to key stakeholders.
- Maintain strong control over inventory valuation, stock accuracy, and provisioning.
- Analyse production order variances (PPV, labour and overhead absorption variances) and monitor WIP levels.
- Create and maintain routine SAP reports for operations stakeholders.
- Review internal controls and support audit requirements (internal, external, and compliance frameworks).
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and engineering processes.
To succeed, you will need:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent manufacturing finance experience. (Essential)
- Excellent financial modelling, analytical and business partnering skills. (Essential)
- Proficiency in Excel; Power BI or similar analytics tools. (Essential)
- Background in manufacturing/engineering cost accounting and operational finance. (Desirable)
- SAP, ERP knowledge, ideally across FI/CO, PP, MM modules. (Desirable)
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence senior operational teams. (Desirable)
