We are looking for an Industrial Air Sales Engineer to help grow our presence across the East of England by delivering high-quality Compressed Air solutions. This field-based role gives you the autonomy to manage your own territory, supported by a knowledgeable and collaborative sales team.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Growing market share across your region by building strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Managing the full sales cycle: identifying opportunities, carrying out site assessments, preparing tailored proposals, and guiding customers through to successful delivery.
- Providing clear and accurate technical guidance to ensure customers receive the right solution for their needs.
- Delivering compelling product demonstrations, attending exhibitions, and supporting commercial negotiations.
- Maintaining excellent customer satisfaction by offering responsive and reliable after-sales support.
- Supporting and motivating the regional distributor network to help them achieve their goals.
- Keeping accurate records of sales visits, market feedback, and pipeline activity to support decision-making.
- Working closely with colleagues across Sales, Product Management, Customer Service, Marketing, and Technical Support to deliver a seamless customer experience.
To Succeed, You'll Need:
- Experience in sales, ideally involving capital equipment or technical products.
- A positive, proactive approach, with the willingness to learn; technical experience is helpful but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with both customers and colleagues.
- Good IT skills and confidence working with digital tools and systems.
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise, plan your own schedule, and work independently.
- A full UK driving licence, as this role involves travel around your territory.
- Knowledge of the compressed air industry is a bonus, but not a requirement; we will support you with training.
