Your role

Bring your curiosity to work as our next Internal Recruiter.

You will be part of our Human Resourses team reporting to HR Manager.

In this role, your mission is to support the end‑to‑end recruitment function for Atlas Copco Compressors, ensuring the timely and cost‑effective hiring of high‑quality talent.

It partners across Great Britain, Ireland, and acquired businesses to deliver consistent and scalable hiring solutions aligned to business needs.

  • Your day‑to‑day
  • Coordinate the end‑to‑end recruitment process across Atlas Copco Compressors, ensuring vacancies are filled in a timely manner while delivering a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Manage recruitment administration, including candidate sourcing, CV screening, pre‑screening interviews, interview scheduling, offer coordination and onboarding activities to support an efficient hiring process.
  • Support hiring managers across GB, Ireland and acquisitions by providing guidance throughout the recruitment process, ensuring vacancies are progressed effectively and recruitment activities align with business requirements.
  • Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media and other recruitment channels, building and maintaining talent pipelines for key and recurring roles to support future hiring needs.
  • Deliver a positive and consistent candidate experience by maintaining regular communication, providing timely feedback and ensuring candidates are supported throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Produce and maintain recruitment reports and metrics, providing monthly updates on recruitment activity, pipeline status, time‑to‑hire and other key performance indicators.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, systems and candidate attraction activities, supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the recruitment function.
  • Support employer branding initiatives by promoting Atlas Copco as an employer of choice through recruitment campaigns, social media engagement, career events and other talent attraction activities.
  • Coordinate recruitment agency activity where required, ensuring agreed processes are followed and supporting effective management of recruitment spend.
  • Your skills and experience
  • Previous experience in an internal recruitment, recruitment coordination, HR, or agency recruitment role.
  • Experience managing end‑to‑end recruitment processes across multiple vacancies; experience recruiting for technical or engineering roles is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practice and the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle.
  • Experience of candidate sourcing through job boards, Linked In, social media and other recruitment channels, with the ability to build and maintain talent pipelines.
  • Experience of screening CVs, conducting telephone or virtual pre‑screening interviews, coordinating interviews and supporting offer management.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), maintaining accurate recruitment records and producing recruitment reports and metrics.
  • Understanding of candidate attraction methods, employer branding and direct sourcing techniques.
  • Experience working collaboratively with hiring managers and delivering a high level of customer service throughout the recruitment process.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies, prioritise competing workloads and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders across different business functions and adapt to changing business priorities.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to balance cost, quality and time‑to‑hire while supporting efficient recruitment delivery.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand new industries, business functions and technical roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers and colleagues.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on‑site at our Atlas Copco Customer Centre in Hemel Hempstead.
