Your mission as the Field Service Engineer is to provide expert repair services for our technology solutions, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety. Responsibilities
- Represent Atlas Copco on-site with professionalism and a customer-first approach
- Install, service, and troubleshoot air compressors, dryers, gas generators, and related equipment
- Diagnose technical faults and deliver expert repairs with safety and efficiency
- Use digital tools to log service activity, maintain up-to-date records, and report on performance
- Participate in our on-call schedule and support urgent service needs when required
- Attend live training and regular team sessions to keep your knowledge and skills sharp
- Act as a brand ambassador and identify opportunities for continuous improvement or added value
- Contribute to a culture of collaboration, safety, and innovation across the wider service team
Qualifications and Requirements
- Hands-on experience in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or engineering roles, including troubleshooting and maintenance
- Relevant mechanical or electrical qualifications, or equivalent practical experience
- Comfortable with standard IT applications and quick to adopt new digital tools and systems for service management
- Valid UK driving licence with a good driving record (no more than 3 points)
- Adaptability, proactive problem-solving skills, and a strong safety mindset in a fast-moving work environment
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach and enthusiasm for resolving technical challenges
