As a Product Specialist in our Semiconductor Service team for STP and Dry Pumps, your mission is to serve as an expert on specific product lines in dry pumps and STP Turbomolecular Pumps providing in-depth knowledge and support to internal teams and customers.

Through a strong network of experienced colleagues, we will support the development of your technical expertise, helping you become a trusted advisor within the business.

This role is responsible for understanding product features, benefits, and applications, as well as assisting in product development, market research, and sales strategies to ensure product success.

You will work closely with Service Product Managers, Engineering, Marketing and Regional Teams to help ensure our service products are technically robust, market-aligned and deliver real value to customers.

  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of the product line, including features, benefits, applications and service requirements.
  • Act as a key point of contact for product-related questions from service sales teams, customer centres and customers.
  • Support the creation and improvement of service offerings, upgrade opportunities and value-added solutions.
  • Analyse product performance, cost structures, customer feedback and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with engineering, product companies, customer centres, sales and marketing teams to support product and system improvements.
  • Lead or support service-related projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring outcomes support customer needs and business objectives.
  • Prepare clear reports, insights and recommendations for product managers and marketing teams.

  • Experience in a product support, service, technical specialist or similar role would be desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and turn it into practical, product-focused insights.
  • Commercial awareness, including an understanding of customer value, service positioning and pricing principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with confidence working across global and cross-functional teams.
  • The ability to manage a mix of long-term projects and short-term customer or operational priorities.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office tools and data analysis or reporting techniques.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at the Global Technology Centre in Burgess Hill, United Kingdom (GB).
