This Product Manager will oversee the lifecycle of semiconductor dry pumps used in harsh duty deposition applications, aiming to maximise returns for Edwards both financially and strategically by delivering customer-focused value. This position involves managing one or more SEMI dry pumps throughout their product lifespan, from New Product Introduction (NPI) to Obsolete for Manufacture (OfM) and leading transition plans to ensure consistent value. A key part of this role will also be to collaborate with the Future Platforms Product Manager to execute on the next generation deposition products. Success in this role depends on close collaboration with Division teams, Regional Customer Centres, and Product Companies to align with organisational strategy and product support plans. Additionally, the position supports data-driven business decisions.
Your Day to Day:
- Define and execute the product vision and strategy of semiconductor deposition dry pumps, ensuring the product’s value propositions are realised in its target markets.
- Responsibility for the lifecycle management of the legacy semiconductor deposition dry pump portfolio, primarily the iXH series.
- Close collaboration with the Future Platforms Product manager on next generation deposition pumps, translating customer and market insights into clear and prioritised product requirements.
- Maintain an outcome-driven product roadmap for allocated products.
- Close collaboration with Divisional and Regional teams, and OEM account teams, to identify, evaluate, and materialise opportunities that support a sustainable and profitable growth plan.
- Collaborate with Product Company teams to prioritise and execute engineering projects (NPI, A&D and EtO) and customer field trials.
- Maximise product profitability by identifying and evaluating product improvement opportunities through the Permit, Engineering Change and Copy Exact processes.
- Conduct research and analysis of competitor products.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of internal and external marketing materials, as well as product data in SAP through the CRF/MRF processes.
- Measure and report on product performance using data and customer feedback.

Job location: This role will be hybrid, based at our GTC site, in the UK. There will be the opportunity for international business travel to support global customers, Customer Centres and Product Companies.
