Locum Specialist Physiotherapist

Location: Manchester

Job Summary:
- Join the children\’s integrated physiotherapy and occupational therapy team.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team within complex needs services and social services.
- Provide specialist physiotherapy for patients aged 0-19 years.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individual treatment programs.
Main Duties:
- Gain consent and conduct physiotherapy assessments.
- Clinically diagnose and formulate treatment plans.
- Treat complex patients while respecting their choice, privacy, and dignity.
- Manage a defined clinical caseload and work as a member of the MDT with indirect supervision.
- Supervise Band 5 physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students.
- Operate as an autonomous practitioner, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
- Provide support and guidance to more junior staff.

Key Responsibilities and Skills:
- Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
- Registered with HCPC.
- Evidence of CPD and advanced clinical reasoning in Paediatrics.

- Ability to work autonomously and motivate a team.
- Flexible and able to work in a stressful environment.
- Postgraduate training in relevant clinical areas (e.g., CPIPS-UK, GIOBS).
