Description:
As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist within the Stroke Team, you will play a pivotal role in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients recovering from stroke. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting specialized assessments and developing personalized rehabilitation plans for patients recovering from stroke.
- Providing hands-on occupational therapy interventions to help patients regain their functional independence.
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Educating patients and their families about the rehabilitation process and strategies to support recovery at home.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
