The Role:

We have requirements for 4 Band 6 BMSs for Haematology, Coagulation and Blood Transfusion at Bronglais Hospital in Aberystwyth, West Wales. You are expected to be familiar with all necessary procedures and guidelines and proficient in running automated analysers in all these sections.

After an initial period of a number of weeks, you'll be added to the below shifts:

  • Routine days: 09:00 - 17:00
  • Long days: 09:00 - 21:00
  • Nights: 21:00 - 09:00

Analysers in use at Bronglais Hospital are:

  • Siemens Advias in Haematology
  • Werfen Tops in Coagulation
  • Ortho Swifts in Blood Transfusion.
