Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT) was formed on 1 June 2018 following a merger between South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Partnership NHS Trust.

The Post holder will:
- Be competent as appropriate to the requirements of the role.
- Put people at the heart of what we do, empowering people to improve care and wellbeing, delivering better health and care in partnership.
- Be a specialist occupational therapist with detailed professional and clinical knowledge, focusing on areas such as rehabilitation, integrated community, community intervention, and reablement.
- Be responsible for a defined population of service users across community and hospital settings within the Trust.
- Assess complex/specialist care/support needs and develop, implement, and evaluate care/support packages.
- Possess supervisory, training, and leadership responsibilities where appropriate, with some responsibility for team performance and service development.
- Demonstrate initiative and creativity in problem-solving.
- Work with the team leader on delegated tasks related to team management.
