Band 6 Occupational Therapist - Neuro & Acute

• Manage a complex caseload of acute neurological and neurosurgical patients.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver individualized rehabilitation programs for neuro trauma and other neurological conditions.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physiotherapists, speech therapists, and medical professionals, to ensure holistic care.

• Apply specialized occupational therapy interventions to facilitate and support patient recovery.

• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adapting treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers on rehabilitation goals and long-term management strategies.

We are seeking a skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist to manage a complex caseload of patients with neurological conditions. The role involves comprehensive assessments, treatment, and rehabilitation to support patient recovery and promote independence., * HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.

• Minimum 2 years of post-registration experience, with significant focus on neurological and neurosurgical rehabilitation.

• Experience managing a complex caseload in an acute setting.

• Expertise in neuro trauma rehabilitation (highly desirable).

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
