Position Overview

  • 6 weeks cover required from start date.

This post is for an Occupational Therapist to be based on the Acute Medical and Surgical wards at Torbay Hospital and to also provide cover in ED and short stay wards.

  • The postholder will be holding a very complex and challenging caseload whilst working on safe and timely discharges to aid flow throughout the hospital and aim to avoid re-admission.
  • They are also responsible for the support and supervision of junior members of the team and will delegate and support with caseloads as appropriate.
